Theory & practice combined: PAE Training facilitating IR physicians in training to test their skills on the latest prostate embolization simulation solutions, which run parallel to several sessions in the scientific programme.
Organised by Dr. Antonio Rampoldi at the AIMS Academy, physicians in training will learn about patient selection (taking into account factors such as the vascular anatomy of the prostatic gland, urinary obstruction, when to perform a biopsy, etc.), technical aspects (use of cone beam CT, catheter, guidewire and embolic agent selection, etc.), clinical results and follow-up. The theoretical part of the course will be complemented by interactive video cases moderated by expert panelists.
