About the role
As a Firmware Engineer, you will be part of our great team within the Technology department, that develops Mentice´s products. You will be involved in the whole product lifecycle from design, implementation, and production to commercial deployment and maintenance.
The role has a big variety of daily tasks and responsibilities on a day-to-day base -

Design, implement and maintain firmware for embedded systems.

Source code, programming files for production, test programs, user’s manual and HW testing

Collaborate with System Engineers (System/Electronics) to ensure firmware compatibility.

Be part of product development projects

Manage relationship with suppliers and other departments

Report status on weekly meetings including risks and schedule

Adhere to and improve our ways of working including tools and processes
We expect you to have -
- A university degree, preferably in computer science, electrical engineering, or other related fields.
- Solid programming experience
- Knowledge in Electronics
- Fluent in English
We see it as beneficial if you have at least 3-5 years of experience working with the development of embedded systems, digital signal processing, electric measurement techniques, and customer demands. If you have some knowledge in electronics design, or experience from the Medical device industry.
