Teaching basic catheter and wire skills

The participants were given the chance to complete a contralateral common iliac lesion with guidance from a senior medical resident. The skill focus was on running diagnostics with appropriate devices and using dilatation catheters and stents to treat the stenosis. The trainees were judged on catheter and wire manipulation and procedure time.
