We are in search of a driven and experienced Financial Accountant for our U.S Business

We have regional offices in the US, Europe, Brazil, India, China, and Japan while our headquarters office is in Gothenburg, Sweden.

We have a great global team with a passion for finance and accounting, that is now looking for you, to complement the team. The position is full-time employment, located in our office in Chicago, reporting to the CFO, located in Sweden.


About the role

As Financial Accountant, you will work independently while wearing many different hats. You will play a pivotal role within the finance team, managing the administration for our Sales office in U.S and secure that the day-to-day financial running of the business, ensuring our business operations, are delivered with high quality. This is a unique opportunity to work for a growing global company and gain exposure to a variety of accounting and business functions. Location: Greater Chicago, Illinois


More specifically about the role (but not limited to):

Ensure all bookkeeping records and monthly accounting procedures are updated and carried out according to deadlines. Process and monitor all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including the preparation of monthly financial statements. In this role, administrative support may be required periodically by local and global management teams, and it is essential to maintain close contact and collaboration with HQ in Sweden. Nurture and maintain relations with customers and vendors. You must utilize accounting principles to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and are responsible for governmental and tax filing and banking matters. Some support to the central HR-department in personnel and payroll matters for the U.S entity and Office administration may also be requested.


Who do we think you are?

  • To be successful, you should have minimum of five (5) year experience in a similar position.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Skilled in taxes, business law and local GAAP
  • Proven experience from working with excel and information/support systems
  • If you have experience from working in international companies, ist’s an advantage

Other personal skills we think are important is being able to quickly adapt to changes in priorities, self-sufficient excellent problem solving /judgment skills, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
