Established in 2006, SIR’s Fellows Spring Practicum has provided education for over a thousand graduating IR fellows. With the launch of the IR Residency and the official sunset of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowships, the Practicum has been renamed the IR Residency Practicum. The mission of the Practicum remains the same: to provide attendees with the most current and beneficial information as they begin their first years of practice in IR. It is designed to prepare graduating residents for practice in both academic and private practice settings. Topics include PAD, IO, Venous Interventions, Men & Women's Health, Pain Management and the Business of IR and much more.

Practicum Attendees Only - Separate Registration Required
For interventional radiologists interested or experienced in cerebral angiography, carotid revascularization, and/or endovascular stroke thrombectomy, the 2022 sir stroke course provides participants with the latest in stroke education. Topics include updates on stroke trials, emerging areas including low aspects, low nihss, and medium vessel occlusion stroke, and challenging stroke interventions in refractory and tandem occlusion cases.
