Aiming for a more efficient healthcare system

Solutions that help improve clinical performance and patient outcomes

Mentice partners with large public and private healthcare entities to help improve the performance of their interventional practice. Having the ability to simulate procedures using actual patient data, interventionalists and clinical teams could rehearse a patient case multiple times and prepare for an actual procedure minimizing patient risk.

At a larger scale, Mentice solutions could help drive a more efficient and less costly healthcare system. Intensive care, corrective operations, and readmissions following complications are some of the most labor intensive and costly parts of today's healthcare. Mentice solutions have the potential to improve patient safety, drive better patient outcomes, and improve performance at a regional, national, and global scale.

To close the gap between simulation and the clinical practice, Mentice has integrated the VIST® simulation platform with select Siemens Healthineers and Philips Healthcare angiography systems bringing endovascular simulation inside the angio-suite. Interventionalists may now perform simulated cardiac and vascular procedures by using the angiography controls to angulate the C-arm, move the angiography table, and review fluoroscopic images on the angiography screens while deploying actual medical devices in a radiation-free environment. Operators may use Mentice's library of cases or import actual MR and CT patient data for case training and rehearsal.
