Ankyras is a FDA approved and CE marked clinical decision support application to support physicians in intracranial aneurysms treatment planning and management through the simulation of flow diverter devices.

Ankyras uses its unique simulation algorithm to assess flow diverter's foreshortening, position, local porosity and expansion. The user imports or uploads DICOM angiography data to the software, segments the target vessel model, computes the centerline to extract the morphological data and finally simulates and compares how different devices would fit for the specific patient.

The algorithm uses device design and detailed morphological descriptors of the treated vessel to provide a 95% accurate position and length of the implanted device.

With the Web or Mobile app, internet is needed only to open the simulation. Once the simulation is open, internet connection is not needed to see the different simulated devices and morphological charts.

The person receives an email with a link to open the simulation in Ankyras (Web or Mobile app depending on the platform that is used). The person can see and interact with the vessel morphology charts and the simulated devices.

Yes, you can save the simulation and access it anytime you need. And more than export, from the online version (cleared for use in EU) you can also share the simulation results with other Ankyras users or third parties."

If you work Online, the software can be accessed from the browser and  you do not need to install anything on your computer. If you are located in the US, you need to install the Desktop application  on your Windows computer

The medical image needed is a 3D rotational angiography (3DRA) or a magnetic resonance angiography (MRA).

The image must be in DICOM format and must be a 3D volume (set of slices).
